Wanstead punches well above its size for weddings. Wanstead Golf Club sits inside the old park estate, Christ Church draws couples from well outside E11, and there is a steady stream of receptions at Wanstead House and in marquees around the Flats. It is one of the more genuinely picturesque places we deliver to, and cakes here tend to be designed with the setting in mind.
We cover the whole of Wanstead and the E11 postcodes, including Wanstead High Street, Wanstead Park, Nightingale Lane, Aldersbrook, Snaresbrook, Wanstead Flats and Blake Hall Road. If you are just outside that, ask anyway, we usually can.

Wanstead Golf Club and Wanstead House both have their own supplier arrangements. We will sort access and timing with them directly so it is not another thing on your list.
If your celebration is somewhere else entirely, that is no problem at all. Give us the venue name and address and we will speak to them directly about access and timing.
Our kitchen sits about 30 minutes from Wanstead, which matters more than it sounds. A tiered cake does not travel well, and a shorter journey means less time in the car and a cake that arrives exactly as it left. We deliver it ourselves and, for tiered cakes, assemble it on site rather than moving it built.
A cake made for a marquee on the Flats and a cake made for a panelled room are not the same cake, even with the same design brief. Light is the reason. Outdoors and in a marquee, whites and ivories read cleanly and fine detail can get lost at a distance, so scale and silhouette matter more than intricacy. In a darker room, texture and gold catch the light and a smaller cake can carry far more detail because people are closer to it. If your reception is at the golf club or at Wanstead House, tell us which room, and if you have photographs from the venue visit send those too. We will also ask about the flowers, because a cake designed alongside the florist always looks more considered than one designed in isolation and then decorated to match. If your florist is happy to speak to us directly, that usually produces the best result of all.

Yes. We make vegan and gluten free cakes with the same designs and finishes as everything else, usually with a small supplement. Everything is baked in a kitchen that handles nuts, gluten, wheat, dairy and egg, so we label clearly but cannot promise an item is free from all traces.
